Refunds and cancelling
Last updated 5 November 2026
The short version. Try it free for 7 days with no card. Cancel any time from Settings. Payments are not refundable, apart from the cases below.
Free trial
Every plan starts with 7 days free. We don't ask for a credit card, so there is nothing to cancel and you won't be charged. The trial covers 1 site and 3 competitors. When it ends your account is paused until you pick a plan; your settings are kept for 30 days.
Cancelling
Cancel at any time in Settings, or from the "Manage subscription" link in any Paddle receipt. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then does not renew and you are not charged again.
Refunds
Payments for monthly and yearly plans are not refundable, because the trial lets you try everything first. If you think a refund is fair because of a fault in Outpublished, email [email protected] with what went wrong and we will look at it. If we stop offering the service, we refund any prepaid period.
If you see a charge you don't recognise, write to us straight away and we will investigate.
Payments are taken by Paddle.com, our online reseller and Merchant of Record. You can also ask for a refund through paddle.net. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method and usually appear within 5 to 10 business days.
Your legal rights
This page does not take away rights you have under consumer law where you live, or under Paddle's refund policy. If you buy as a consumer in the UK, the EU or another country that gives a legal right to cancel within 14 days, that right applies on top of this page.
